Samantha Sherwood, PhD

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Sherwood is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families to address a variety of emotional, behavioral, and health-related concerns. She has specialized training in both (1) General Child and Adolescent Psychology, and (2) Pediatric Health Psychology. Dr. Sherwood strives to provide compassionate, evidence-based treatment tailored to each client and family’s unique needs. She also aims to work closely with families, schools, and medical providers as needed to ensure comprehensive and collaborative care.

Dr. Sherwood’s primary license is in Nevada (License #PY1162) and she provides both in-person and telehealth services in Las Vegas. She is also certified with PSYPACT (mobility #23033), which allows her to provide telehealth services to clients located in all 42 participating PSYPACT states. Participating states include Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, D.C., Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Outside of work, Dr. Sherwood enjoys all things outdoors (hiking, camping, paddle boarding), trying new restaurants, pilates and cycle classes, and spending time with her family, friends, and two very cuddly cats.
